
Tala de los Santos, MS, MBA
Tala de los Santos, MS, MBA, leads PATH’s Diagnostics Program, which develops and introduces innovative and high-impact diagnostic technologies for infectious diseases and noncommunicable diseases for use in developing countries. She has more than 15 years of experience in managing product development and commercialization in both the public and private sectors. Her experience spans the entire cradle-to-grave product life cycle: assessing user and market needs during early feasibility, collaborating with researchers and developers to ensure fidelity to the target product profile and timely product launch, and managing supply-chain logistics to support product introduction and implementation.
Prior to joining PATH, Ms. de los Santos worked at Applied Biosystems, where she managed marketing and product development of research and medical device detection systems.
Ms. de los Santos has an MS in human genetics from Stanford University and an MBA from Seattle University.
