The Woman’s Condom is a new female condom designed to protect women and couples from unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections and to be highly pleasurable. This document describes product features and the steps that PATH and our manufacturing partner, Shanghai Dahua Medical Apparatus Company, are taking to raise awareness and build demand. The Woman’s Condom is branded O’lavie™ in China.

PATH developed these messages for use by anyone interested in communicating the impact of diarrhea on the health and development of children and families around the world. This is also a guide to communicating the value of a coordinated approach to diarrheal disease control and the proven, cost-effective solutions available today.

This fact sheet describes a phase 2 influenza vaccine clinical study that PATH and our partners are conducting in Senegal. The study seeks to better understand the performance of seasonal influenza vaccines in a tropical, low-resource region of the country. Overall, the results from this study will provide evidence to support larger research efforts to determine the most feasible and efficient ways of protecting populations in tropical, developing Africa from influenza through the use of vaccines.

This report presents the results and findings of three demonstration projects undertaken in Tunisia as part of a partnership between project Optimize and the Tunisian Ministry of Health. Between 2009 and 2012, the partnership aimed to demonstrate innovations in the supply chain that can help the national immunization program meet the demands of an increasingly large and costly portfolio of vaccines.
