This photo set contains photographs by project Optimize of the installation and initial testing of two battery-free solar refrigerators in May 2011 in Vietnam.

In November 2012, the first immunization campaign to use a controlled temperature chain (CTC) took place in northern Benin. This photo set by project Optimize contains images taken during the campaign, where more than 155,000 people were vaccinated using the CTC approach.

In March 2011, the government of Senegal began using a "moving warehouse" to transport vaccines and vaccine supplies from regional stores directly to district stores and health posts on a monthly basis in the Saint-Louis region. This photo set explains how the moving warehouse works and shares results from a project Optimize–supported pilot demonstration of the moving warehouse from 2010 to 2012.

Starting in 2009, the Albanian Institute of Public Health collaborated with project Optimize to implement an online immunization information system (IIS) that can schedule and record all child immunizations in the country, as well as manage vaccine stock and storage. The “before” pictures describe how health workers used the previous paper-based registry, while the “after” pictures describe how they are now using the online IIS.
