Digital Square
Closing the equity gap with the appropriate use of digtally enabled health services.
About
Advancing digital transformation to close the health equity gap
Digital Square at PATH works with ministries of health to align adaptable, interoperable digital technologies with local health needs and brings partners together to improve how the global community designs, uses, and pays for digital health tools and approaches.
We work with innovators to advance digital health tools that are designed to work together seamlessly.
We work with governments and country-based technology experts to strengthen local capacity to implement and manage digital health programs.
We work with donors to identify investments that ensure long-term success and align with country priorities.
Digital Square provides a mechanism to foster alignment and coordination among investors, implementers, and innovators, helping them reinforce one another in hearing, understanding, and supporting country priorities.
Countries around the world are transforming their health systems to take advantage of the digital tools, approaches, and data they produce as they work toward universal health coverage. Achieving health equity increasingly depends on ensuring that everyone, everywhere, has access to and benefits from health services enhanced by appropriate digital technologies.
Where we work
At Digital Square, we work with partners from around the world—governments, ministries of health, academic institutions, donors, networks, innovators, and other nongovernmental organizations—to advance digitally enabled health services.
We support the implementation of digital health projects in over 30 countries through our key initiatives, focusing our resources on a prioritized set of exemplar countries to drive impact.
