This document provides practical illustrations on how to use key global resources related to the procurement of safe-injection equipment. It is intended for use by country decision-makers responsible for selecting and procuring good-quality safe-injection equipment.

This guidebook captures lessons learned by PATH over the course of the Making Medical Injections Safer project, in both Centers for Disease Control and USAID countries, on selecting, procuring, and installing a small-scale incinerator for health care waste management.
