Since 2001, PATH has brought our global health expertise and innovative approaches to the fight against tuberculosis. We work hand in hand with global partners with a special focus on high-burden countries.

This project Optimize evidence brief discusses the rationale for introducing net-zero energy systems into vaccine supply chains and describes the experiences and lessons learned in a demonstration project in Tunisia. Opportunities and challenges are presented and evidence is provided for national and global readers involved in immunization supply chains who may be considering a similar intervention.

Between 2009 and 2012, technical staff from project Optimize, a collaboration between PATH and the World Health Organization, worked to develop costing methodology and create an accompanying Microsoft Excel-based costing tool to help estimate the cost of the vaccine supply chain in Senegal and Vietnam. This report documents the methodology used to develop the costing tool.

This fact sheet describes how PATH and the World Health Organization have collaborated for more than three decades to improve global health.
