This analysis documents digital health–related learning networks in Africa to better understand the current landscape and the approaches being used by these networks to develop capacity. We examined key strengths and differentiators of 13 selected networks, raising important considerations for funders and stakeholders interested in supporting learning networks as a means to develop digital health capacity.

This document includes a narrative and supporting graphic illustrating our theory on how to improve data systems and accelerate data use over a ten-year period in order to perpetuate a cycle of better data production and enhanced use of information to improve the performance of health systems.
