This assessment evaluated opportunities and challenges relating to the introduction of SILCS in South Africa as a multipurpose prevention technology that could potentially protect users from HIV as well as unintended pregnancy. The Maternal, Adolescent and Child Health (MatCH) Research group (University of the Witwatersrand) conducted this assessment and report, available in both full and abridged versions.

This report presents the results of a video application of The Narrative Project framework to build support for maternal and child health. The project was spearheaded by the Visual Epidemiology Project at Yale University and PATH, in partnership with the New Venture Fund, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Vision, and Save the Children Action Network. Key findings reveal the effectiveness of an emotional storytelling video approach.

This report describes a pilot project that PATH conducted in the Afar Region of Ethiopia that aimed to increase vaccination coverage through social mobilization committees and communication activities.
