This report describes the challenges, successes, and outcomes of a nine-year project to enhance sustainable seasonal and pandemic influenza vaccine development in low- and middle-income countries globally. PATH, in collaboration with the World Health Organization and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority within the US Department of Health and Human Services, provided technical support to vaccine manufacturers in Brazil, China, India, Serbia, Thailand, and Vietnam as they worked to develop, manufacture, and submit for licensure safe and effective influenza vaccines.

  3. Myanmar is in a time of unique political and social transition. However, sexual and reproductive health outcomes in Myanmar remain among the poorest in the region.PATH is supporting Myanmar’s Ministry of Health and Sports to develop a new National Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy that aims to provide an inclusive policy framework to guide subsequent strategic plans, clinical guidelines, care pathways, service standards, and data collection, that take a rights-based approach to sexual and reproductive health service delivery.
