The new, four-year Devices, Diagnostics, and Drugs to Address Women’s Needs Product Development Partnership (D3AWN PDP) is tapping into PATH’s deep PDP expertise to develop and introduce a portfolio of devices, diagnostics, and drugs to prevent or manage preeclampsia/eclampsia (PE/E) and PPH. The D3AWN PDP is advancing affordable, accessible, safe, and effective tools for sub-Saharan communities. Solutions include:Heat-stable FDT for PPH prevention: Sublingual oxytocin in heat-stable, fast dissolving tablet.Reusable, electricity-free infusion pump for the delivery of lifesaving nutrients, fluids, and medicines: RELI Delivery System.Uterine balloon tamponade for the management of PPH: Sinapi Ellavi Uterine Balloon Tamponade.Urinary dipstick test with protein to creatinine ratiometric measurement for improved preeclampsia screening

  2. L’évaluation prospective de pays (PCE) est une plateforme d’évaluation intégrée à méthodes mixtes, conçue pour examiner le modèle d’investissement du Fonds mondial, ses investissements et sa contribution aux effets et à l'impact des programmes de lutte contre les épidémies de sida, de tuberculose et de paludisme dans huit pays. La PCE génère des données utiles à l’amélioration des programmes et à l’accélération du progrès vers les objectifs de la stratégie 2017-2022 du Fonds mondial.Cette note présente les conclusions de la RDC ainsi que les résultats synthétisés dans les huit pays PCE en 2018.

  3. The Prospective Country Evaluation (PCE) is an independent evaluation of the Global Fund commissioned by the Global Fund’s Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG). The PCE evaluates how Global Fund policies and processes play out in country in real time and aims to provide high quality, actionable and timely information to national program implementers and Global Fund policymakers. The PCE is implemented by the Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC) in collaboration with IHME and PATH.This report describes key findings from early implementation of the newly approved grants from January–November of 2018.
