Today, we continue to support Indonesia’s evolving health priorities by connecting evidence, innovation, and partnerships to strengthen local capacity and deliver solutions that can be sustained and scaled.

Health Innovation in Indonesia
PATH advances Indonesia’s health transformation agenda across four key areas: strengthening primary health care, building a resilient vaccine ecosystem, strengthening infectious disease surveillance and control, and improving nutrition and population health. Our work spans digitally enabled community health services, disease detection and outbreak preparedness, vaccine development and local manufacturing, and integrated nutrition interventions. Working with government, communities, research institutions, and industry, we help turn these priorities into practical solutions that improve health today and strengthen Indonesia’s capacity for the future.
PATH partners with the Ministry of Health to strengthen Indonesia's primary health care system through integrated service delivery, digital tools, and community health platforms. We support the scale-up of digital solutions such as KaderKita, strengthen community health workers, and help connect frontline data with SATUSEHAT to improve access, continuity of care, and evidence-based decision-making.
PATH works with government, manufacturers, and global partners to strengthen Indonesia's capacity for vaccine introduction, diagnostics, and regional manufacturing. We support technology transfer, market access, and innovation that enhance health security while positioning Indonesia as a regional hub for vaccines and medical technologies.
PATH supports Indonesia's efforts to reduce the burden of tuberculosis, malaria, dengue, vaccine-preventable diseases, and noncommunicable diseases through innovative surveillance, digital diagnostics, community-based screening, and strengthened health systems. Working alongside government and partners, we help improve prevention, early detection, and timely access to quality care.
PATH's nutrition work supports Indonesia's national nutrition priorities by integrating nutrition into primary health care, disease treatment, and maternal health programs. The program focuses on improving nutrition outcomes for people affected by tuberculosis, anemia, and maternal undernutrition through community-based interventions, digital tools, and integration with ILP and the KaderKita platform.
PATH helps accelerate Indonesia's digital health transformation by supporting interoperable health information systems, SATUSEHAT integration, electronic medical records, and data-driven decision-making. We work to ensure digital innovations strengthen health system performance while improving service delivery from communities to national level.
