PSA OPEX Estimator Tool: An advocacy and planning tool for pressure swing adsorption plants

This tool is designed to help global health stakeholders, procurers, and advocates estimate the annual operating expenditures (OPEX) of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It is intended to support advocacy, planning, and comparative analysis related to oxygen system investments.

The tool generates approximate operating cost estimates based on key PSA plant specifications and operating assumptions. Users should complete all input fields to the best of their ability using information available for the plant being assessed. Suggested values are provided for selected inputs to support users when site-specific information is unavailable.

The estimates produced by this tool are intended to provide a standardized, evidence-informed basis for discussion and comparison across settings. The tool is not intended to serve as a detailed budgeting, procurement, or financial planning tool.
