DMPA-SC's user-friendly design means that any trained person can administer it, including community health workers, pharmacists, and women themselves.The two videos are available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish on the DMPA-SC Resource Library.   3. Thousands of women are now taking charge of their reproductive health through self-injection of the contraceptive subcutaneous DMPA (DMPA-SC, brand name Sayana® Press). In this February 13, 2019 webinar, speakers presented evidence from five countries at different stages of DMPA-SC introduction and scale-up, from earliest (Ghana) to more advanced (Uganda). Speakers also shared insights on applying research findings to program design and delivery.   4. PATH’s Scale-Up project seeked to reduce cervical cancer incidence through improved and expanded screening using human papillomavirus (HPV) testing. Between 2015 and 2020, PATH partnered with countries in Central America to implement HPV testing for cervical cancer screening within public sector clinics. The project demonstrated that a new model of cervical cancer screening anchored on HPV testing is achievable. This resource shares the key findings and public health implications.
