This paper documents the accomplishments of the PATH-led Alliance for Cervical Cancer Prevention (ACCP). The report also presents the state of knowledge about alternative screening strategies prior to the establishment of the partnership, as well as contributions of researchers not affiliated with ACCP.

A forthcoming PATH report, Menstrual Management and Sanitation Systems, includes the appendices found here. Appendix 2 is a landscape analysis of menstrual hygiene products available in South Africa and India and their attributes, presented in table format; Appendix 4 presents qualitative data from hybrid sanitary pad research in India; and Appendix 8 offers key lessons regarding menstrual hygiene and sanitation systems educational messaging for women, sanitation workers, and country- and community-level decision-makers.

It includes information about the tremendous burden of rotavirus diarrhea in Gambian children, rotavirus diarrhea treatment and prevention strategies, and the effectiveness of rotavirus vaccines. It also lists countries that have introduced rotavirus vaccines into their national immunization programs.

Maintaining proper temperatures for vaccine products is challenging, especially in places with extremely hot or cold climates, unreliable electricity, and weak transportation infrastructure. This three-part banner and these handouts display devices prequalified by the World Health Organization that assess vaccine handling quality, detect malfunctioning equipment, and prevent temperature fluctuations that can negatively impact vaccine potency and safety. These are part of the project Optimize traveling exhibit featuring immunization supply chain innovations being developed and tested around the world.
