As part of PATH’s work in vaccine and pharmaceutical delivery technologies, this report provides insight into country priorities for maternal immunization and characterizes the market for adult immunizations in select low- and middle-income countries. It outlines the landscape of vaccines with known and potential value in maternal immunization, summarizes global stakeholder and country-level program priorities for maternal immunization programs, provides demand estimates for high-priority maternal vaccines, and summarizes regulatory requirements.

PATH and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation co-hosted a consultation in November 2015 bringing together developers, manufacturers, and organizations interested in expanding access to pulse oximetry and oxygen concentrators in low-resources settings. This summary outlines key issues identified at the consultation including barriers to access, market size, and maintenance.

In order to identify challenges related to health research and development (R&D) in Kenya and South Africa, PATH commissioned the Council on Health Research for Development (COHRED) to conduct landscape analyses of policies, advocacy initiatives, stakeholders, and funding trends related to health R&D and regulatory processes.
