The guidelines contain an overview of reprocessing materials and equipment, space planning and workflow, detailed step-by-step disinfection instructions, training and supervision considerations, and further considerations for health facility administrators and ministry of health officials. The general job aid should be posted in the reprocessing area along with the appropriate job aid for the selected method of disinfection. Training materials (including a quality improvement roadmap) can be tailored for training workshops or activities. French and Spanish translations of the guidelines and the general job aid are also available.
