Between 2013 and 2015, PATH tested a web- and mobile-based application that links local health care workers to the National Tuberculosis (TB) Treatment management database and sends short message service (SMS) text reminders to patients. In 2017, the Vietnam Ministry of Health decided to scale this system up nationwide using their own resources.
