Join PATH from July 17-21, 2023, as we explore ways to advance health equity and universal health coverage at the Women Deliver 2023 Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.

The Women Deliver Conference is one of the largest multi-sectoral gatherings, convening more than 6,000 advocates, leaders, and changemakers from diverse fields around the globe. The conference aims to advance gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and improve the wellbeing of girls and women, in all their intersecting identities. The theme for Women Deliver 2023 is Spaces, Solidarity and Solutions.

Accelerating Global Health Equity through Cross-Sector Partnership

This side event will feature a moderated, cross-sector panel highlighting key principles and perspectives of effective health equity measurement and the importance of collaborative partnership. Panelists include representatives from the World Economic Forum's Global Health Equity Network member organizations, including Johnson & Johnson, UNICEF, PATH, Deloitte, and more. Panelists will share insights and learnings from the work that their organizations have done and continue to do to drive health equity action and impact for their workforce, customers, communities, and ecosystems. The session will also explore the importance, challenges, and opportunities for building joint platforms and partnerships and measuring impact across sectors and geographies. Organized by World Economic Forum.

This interactive game show-style side event promises to challenge assumptions, spark discussions, and elevate the importance of equity in global development.

Fireside Chat on Building Political Will for Childcare through Partnership Building

This fireside chat, co-hosted by ECDAN, Conrad N Hilton Foundation, Africa Early Childhood Network, and Akina Mama Wa Africa will bring together government representatives, philanthropy organizations, and civil society advocates to discuss the importance of expanding access to quality, affordable, accessible childcare. It will explore strategies for cohesive communication, coalition building, stakeholder mobilization, and policy engagement.

Advancing women’s economic empowerment and child development outcomes through childcare

This event, organized by ECDAN, the Home-Based Childcare Initiative, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, FEMNET, Save the Children and Rwanda will explore the linkages between women's economic empowerment and child development outcomes, and childcare. Panelists from INGOs, donors, and local NGOs will tackle key questions on economic justice, gender equality, and early childhood development. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with global stakeholders, gender equality advocates, and childcare advocates on the sidelines of Women Deliver.
