Meïssa Diaw

Chief People and Diversity Officer

Meïssa Diaw is PATH’s Chief People and Diversity Officer. Meïssa is based in Dakar, Senegal. He directs PATH’s global HR functions and leads an empowered team of HR specialists across Asia, Africa, and North America.

Meïssa joined PATH in 2013 as a Regional HR Business Partner for West and Central Africa. Since then, he has contributed to building and strengthening the HR function in the region. He served as HR Director for the Africa region before being appointed as the organization’s first Africa-based Chief People and Diversity Officer in January 2022. Before joining PATH, Meïssa was the HR Manager for the West Africa region for Maersk Logistics. He has close to 18 years of experience in HR management, in both the private and nonprofit sectors, and has held a variety of HR leadership roles throughout his career.

Meïssa is an enthusiastic people growth specialist who is passionate about cultural diversity. Originally from Senegal, he has lived in six different countries and speaks several languages.
