Sibusiso Hlatjwako, MPH

Sibusiso Hlatjwako is PATH’s Director of External Affairs for the Africa region, where he leads strategic advocacy, communications, partnerships, and reputation management efforts across more than a dozen countries.

With over 20 years of experience in public health and public affairs, Sibusiso has held leadership roles in government, donor agencies, NGOs, and the private sector. He has been instrumental in forging high-level partnerships and advancing impactful funding collaborations for PATH. His prior roles include Public Affairs Director at Brunswick Group, Director for Public Affairs at Aeras, and Public Health Specialist at CDC South Africa.

Sibusiso holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Pretoria and has additional qualifications in project management, quality improvement, and health program monitoring.
