Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are a leading cause of death both globally and in Ghana. PATH is working with the Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service, and Access Accelerated to improve access to NCD screening, diagnosis, and care in the country. As part of this effort, PATH conducted a landscape assessment between November 2019 and January 2020 to understand Ghana's NCD ecosystem as foundational work to inform future investments aligned with the national policy.
