Help PATH advance universal health coverage.

Primary health care systems are the expressway to achieving universal health coverage, but right now, they are underfunded in most countries.

In Africa, this has resulted in a shortfall of around 6 million health care workers, supply chain challenges, longer wait times for patients at health facilities, and increases in antimicrobial resistance and noncommunicable disease.

To address these challenges, PATH is advocating for increased health funding, and helping governments integrate multiple patient services into single points of care, so that a person living with HIV and hypertension should not need to travel to two different health facilities on different dates to refill their prescriptions or receive care.

We’re also training health workers and laboratory technicians on how to prevent, detect, and respond to outbreaks.

We’re putting people and communities—instead of diseases—at the center of health systems to ensure the diverse health needs of different populations can be met.

Your gift will help us reach more people with the high-quality health services everyone deserves.
