With over 17 years of experience in public health interventions, Tarryn brings a wealth of expertise to her new role and will be based in the UK. Most recently, Tarryn served as the Director of Malaria and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) at Population Services International, where she oversaw technical and operational implementation of malaria and WASH portfolios. Tarryn has extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale health programs, providing technical assistance to national governments, and developing and managing partnerships with key stakeholders. In addition to malaria and WASH, her experience spans across a variety of public health areas, including HIV and child survival.

As Director of the MNTD program, Tarryn will be responsible for driving the program's strategic direction and leading its implementation and evaluation. She will also work collaboratively across the Programs and Innovation division and other divisions at PATH to identify cross-program opportunities and competencies. With over 140 staff in 10 countries and 15 projects active in over 20 countries, the MNTD program is one of PATH’s largest portfolios and is critical to PATH's mission of achieving health equity for all.

“Tarryn's extensive experience in program management, business development, and donor management makes her an excellent fit for this role” said Kammerle Schneider, Chief of Programs & Innovation and former Director of MNTD at PATH. “Her expertise in malaria and other key public health areas will be invaluable as we continue to advance our work”.

Tarryn holds an MA in Environment and Development from King’s College London and a BSc (Hons) in Geography, Environment, and Development from the University of Durham.
