PATH joins largest internationally focused charitable federation

PATH has been selected to join Global Impact, one of the most successful and trusted organizations in international philanthropy. Representing “member charities” that meet strict criteria for public accountability and far-reaching results, the organization raised more than $85 million last year through workplace giving campaigns carried out across the nation.

Now we are among the member charities represented by Global Impact. “PATH is a skilled and innovative organization,” said Renée S. Acosta, president and CEO of Global Impact. “Its commitment to ethical, transparent operating principles makes PATH a natural partner for Global Impact.”

Does your workplace have a campaign?

Membership in Global Impact will increase our visibility nationally and provide opportunities to introduce our work through major employers. If you work for a company that organizes a workplace giving campaign, you can designate a donation to PATH through Global Impact (using our most recent Combined Federal Campaign Code). Many employers will match employee contributions.

A history of helping American workers reach out

Since 1956, Global Impact has connected employees in American workplaces to a network of 50 US-based international charities. Since their inception, they have raised more than $375 million for member charities. Today, Global Impact participates in more than 300 federal campaigns, 100 state and local government campaigns, and 75 private-sector campaigns (including Microsoft,, and Wells Fargo). PATH is thrilled to have an opportunity to partner in such success!

Other member charities include Doctors Without Borders USA, Planned Parenthood–World Population, US Fund for UNICEF, and Save the Children.

Lower cost and higher returns

Workplace giving is one of the lowest-cost methods of fundraising. During a campaign, which may last for a few weeks, employees can learn about the member charities and pledge a donation through payroll deduction. Because payroll deduction is easy and spreads a contribution over the year, individuals can often give more.
