Accessibility statement

PATH is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible and to meeting the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 Level AA.

This accessibility statement applies to: https://www.path.org

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. You should be able to:

  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard.
  • Zoom content up to 400% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Use the website with a screen reader (including VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS).
  • Adjust text size using browser zoom and use operating system settings such as dark mode or high-contrast mode to change the appearance of the site.

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, due to the issues listed below.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

  • Some interactive components do not manage keyboard focus correctly, which may make navigation difficult for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Some dynamic updates (such as search results and pagination) are not announced to screen readers.
  • Some elements do not meet color contrast requirements in dark mode or high-contrast settings.
  • Some form controls do not have an accessible label.

These issues are being tracked and prioritized for improvement.

  • PDFs are not fully accessible in a number of ways including missing text alternatives.

PATH is committed to improving the accessibility of path.org. Issues identified through accessibility testing are logged as individual tasks and addressed based on user impact and available development capacity.

Accessibility will continue to be reviewed as part of ongoing site maintenance and future development work.

This statement is based on a high-level accessibility audit carried out by PATH’s website development partner.

Testing was conducted using a combination of automated and manual methods on a representative subset of page templates, including:

  • Semi-automated accessibility checks using Accessibility Insights.
  • Manual keyboard navigation testing.
  • Manual color-contrast testing for text and non-text UI elements.
  • Screen reader testing using VoiceOver on Safari.
  • Zoom and magnification testing using browser zoom and macOS Zoom.
  • Testing forced-colors/high-contrast settings.

This statement was prepared on January 14, 2026 and will be reviewed periodically.
