The Global Consultation on the Female Condom, held September 26 to 29, 2005 in Baltimore, MD, brought together experts from around the world to review evidence of the female condom’s effectiveness in preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and to learn about countries’ program experiences.
