From Steve Davis, PATH's president and CEO:

PATH, our board of directors, and our 1,300 employees around the globe join the entire global health community in mourning the passing of a great leader, Alan Magill. We extend our deepest condolences to Alan's family, friends, and colleagues.

As a close partner and ally in his vision for a world free of malaria, we knew Alan as a profoundly engaged, passionate, smart, and humble scientist and humanitarian deeply committed to addressing the enormous and unfair inequities in global health. To ensure Alan's legacy is realized, PATH further commits to intensify all of our innovation and efforts in the battle to control and eliminate malaria. Surely the world has been blessed with Alan's many contributions. It is now our responsibility to move them forward.
