Suzanne Hoza oversees the operations function of the Global Health Programs division to enable matrixed health program areas and country teams to achieve high-quality project execution. Ms. Hoza is responsible for building, implementing, and optimizing systems and processes to support and evaluate financial, operational, and knowledge management from start-up through close-out of projects.
Ms. Hoza brings over a decade of global health and operations experience from a wide array of country, regional, and global senior level positions with implementing organizations and with the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Before joining PATH, Ms. Hoza served as the Country Director for Nigeria with Chemonics International, where she oversaw a $300 million portfolio of projects focused on global health supply chain and systems-strengthening technical assistance. She has also held leadership positions in health systems strengthening and global operations with Catholic Relief Services, Management Sciences for Health, Research Triangle Institute, and Crown Agents, and served as Deputy Director of the Office of Health with USAID/Russia.
Ms. Hoza transitioned to global health and development following senior management positions at the Boeing Company, Microsoft, and General Electric. From her 20 years of experience in the private sector she brings significant expertise in driving operational excellence, innovation, and business development.
Ms. Hoza graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelors degree in business administration and operations management and is the recipient of high level government and private sector awards for driving vision, building high performing teams, and delivering results in challenging environments.
