Shannon Dowd is PATH’s HR Director of Learning and Analytics. A natural-born connector who makes change happen with purpose, through people and processes, Shannon oversees PATH’s Center of Expertise in learning and people analytics. In this role, she manages a globally dispersed team that collectively functions as a critical engine to PATH’s HR systems and processes. Together, they build capacity through people data, learning initiatives, performance management, process improvement, and knowledge management.
Shannon joined PATH in 2007. Since then, she has grown the learning and development portfolio and implemented HR systems that create efficiency and better employee experiences.
With 15 years’ experience, she is motivated by building bridges between ideas and actions, and she strives to integrate people, culture, and DEI strategies and practices into her area of expertise to ensure alignment and support of the organizational strategy. Prior to joining PATH, she worked in biotechnology.
Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in human resources from Western Washington University. She received her certification in eLearning Design and Development from the University of Washington and is a certified facilitator in Situational Leadership II and Crucial Conversations curriculum.
