
Claudia Harner-Jay
Claudia Harner-Jay is the Acting Global Program Leader for PATH’s Market Dynamics program, leading a diverse portfolio focused on understanding markets and addressing barriers to access so that appropriately designed, high-impact health products can meet demand and reach the people who need them.
Claudia brings 25 years of experience in increasing access to health innovations by strengthening markets in low-resource settings, leading multi-stakeholder strategic programs, and creating public-private partnerships to overcome health equity challenges. Her skills include designing and overseeing complex, high-profile health projects; influencing the buy-in of internal and external stakeholders; and managing cross-functional teams to create innovative business models and measure impact.
Prior to PATH, Claudia worked at Monsanto Company, where she created and implemented the company's strategy to enter the smallholder farmers market in Mexico; at Nike in the Environmental Affairs department; and at UBS Financial Services Company. Claudia holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in environmental policy from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Puget Sound.
