Meningococcal Vaccines: Polysaccharide and Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccines - WHO Position Paper
This article, published in the Weekly Epidemiological Record, summarizes essential background information on meningococcal meningitis and vaccines against the disease. It also includes the current World Health Organization (WHO) position concerning the use of vaccines against meningitis in the global context, with particular emphasis on internationally available meningococcal polysaccharide vaccines and polysaccharide conjugate vaccines.
