This website is a source for information about the call for a World Pneumonia Day on November 2, 2009. Child health groups have called for the day to raise global visibility for pneumonia, the leading cause of death among children under five years of age. The aim is to raise awareness and mobilize efforts among policymakers and grassroots organizers to fight against the disease. PATH is one of numerous supporters that have joined the call.
