Malaria Vaccine Technology Roadmap
The Malaria Vaccine Technology Roadmap was originally published in 2006 to establish a strategic plan for developing and distributing a safe, effective, and affordable vaccine to prevent malaria in children under five years of age in sub-Saharan Africa and other highly endemic regions. In 2013, the World Health Organization worked with the Malaria Vaccine Funders Group to update the vision and strategic goals of the first publication. The Roadmap forms a strategic framework that underpins the activities of the global malaria vaccine research and development community.
