Vaccination Against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, A Cause of Travelers' Diarrhea
This review, published in The Journal of Travel Medicine, focuses on the strategies behind development and potential use of currently available vaccines and vaccine candidates against enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) infection. As one of the predominant causes of travelers' diarrhea, the development of an effective vaccine against ETEC mediated diarrhea would be a welcome advance.
