Skin Vaccination Summit 2013

This special issue of Vaccine contains ten articles that feature innovative research around cutaneous immunization, as presented at the 2013 Skin Vaccination Summit in Seattle, Washington. The issue highlights the various technologies and strategies available for cutaneous immunization, including jet injection and microneedle patches, as well opportunities and challenges with cutaneous vaccine delivery compared to conventional syringes and needles.
