Efficacy and Safety of Vi-Tetanus Toxoid Conjugated Typhoid Vaccine (PedaTyph™) in Indian Children: School Based Cluster Randomized Study

This article, published in Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics, reports the results of a study that evaluated the safety and efficacy of a typhoid conjugate vaccine in children 6 months to 12 years of age. The authors found that the vaccine was safe and 100 percent effective in the first year of follow-up in protecting against typhoid fever in children that received two doses of the vaccine.
