Immune Response of Healthy Women to 2 Different Group B Streptococcal Type V Capsular Polysaccharide-Protein Conjugate Vaccines

This article, published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases, reports the results of a study to examine the safety and immunogenicity of two group B Streptococcus (GBS) type V capsular polysaccharide-protein conjugate vaccines. The authors found the GBS type V conjugate vaccines to be safe and immunogenic and conclude that they would be appropriate for inclusion in a candidate multivalent GBS vaccine.
