One Is Too Many: Ending Child Deaths From Pneumonia and Diarrhoea

This report highlights the current burden of pneumonia and diarrheal disease in children under the age of five and outlines the protective, preventative, and treatment interventions available to fight these diseases. It explains current progress in reducing deaths due to pneumonia and diarrhea and illustrates the divide between children being reached with interventions, like vaccines, versus those that aren’t. The report also provides recommendations to accelerate the use of effective interventions and to bridge the greatest gaps in equity.
