Clinical Evaluations of Formalin Inactivated RSV Vaccine Candidates in Pediatric Populations During the 1960s (Four Articles)

These articles, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology in 1969, describe results from clinical studies evaluating formalin inactivated respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine candidates in pediatric populations. All studies found the vaccine candidates to elicit no protective effect. In some cases, participants experienced enhanced disease when naturally infected by RSV post vaccination. ABSTRACTS ONLY.
