The Changing Landscape of Respiratory Syncytial Virus

Recognition of the high disease burden of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) has led to increased efforts to prevent and treat RSV. This article, published in Vaccine, attempts to address questions that may emerge using current knowledge from the literature and extrapolating from previous experiences with other pathogens, including questions regarding vaccine development strategies and safety.
