Monoclonal Antibodies to Shigella LPS Useful for Vaccine Production

This article, published in Clinical and Vaccine Immunology, reports the results of a study that produced monoclonal antibodies against serotype-specific Shigella lipopolysaccharides (LPS). These Shigella LPS-specific monoclonal antibodies may be used by vaccine developers to assess multivalent vaccine composition and as a reliable control for multiple immunoassays used to assess vaccine potency.
