The Vaccine and Cervical Cancer Screen (VACCS) Project: Acceptance of Human Papillomavirus Vaccination in a School-Based Programme in Two Provinces of South Africa

This article, published in the South African Medical Journal, investigated the acceptance of a school-based human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination delivery strategy. The results demonstrated that HPV vaccination is practical and safe in South African schools, political and community acceptance was good, and high completion rates were achieved.
