Refocusing Gavi for Greater Impact
This report outlines the large impact that Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, has had on immunization rates in eligible countries through funding support and dispersal of vaccines. It also provides recommendations on how Gavi could have a greater impact. The authors suggest shifting support away from lower-cost vaccines provided to middle-income countries toward more underused vaccines and support to the poorest countries as a strategy to save more lives.
