Committing to Child Survival: A Promise Renewed—Progress Report 2014

This report follows the 2013 progress report on the "A Promise Renewed" initiative, and is intended to track progress on child survival and promote accountability for global commitments made to children. It includes: levels and trends in under-five and neonatal mortality since 1990; an analysis of progress towards achievement of Millennium Development Goal 4; the causes of, and interventions against, neonatal and child deaths; national and global initiatives used to accelerate progress on child survival; and statistical tables on child mortality and key indicators of intervention coverage by country and region.
