Stakeholder Perceptions of Pentavalent Vaccine (DTwP-HepB-Hib) in the Uniject™ Injection System

This report discusses stakeholder attitudes towards pentavalent vaccine (which combines five antigens for protection against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type B) in the Uniject™ injection system. The authors conducted semi-structured interviews with 151 health care workers and policy and procurement officers from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Kenya, Peru, Senegal, and Uganda. The results showed that the concept of pentavalent vaccine prefilled in Uniject™ was well received across the different stakeholders.
