Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS)

This online database provides a centralized, web-based warehouse for key information related to vaccine access. It includes data on the global uptake of Haemophilus influenzae type b, pneumococcal, rotavirus, and hepatitis B vaccines; demographic indicators; and tools for strategic social mapping of key vaccine policy stakeholders and decision makers. VIMS also houses the latest VIMS report on Global Vaccine Introduction, which is produced on a quarterly basis, along with a PowerPoint slide deck with usable data graphics contained within the report. In order to access the database, users must first complete a form on the website.
