Coverage, Cost, and Safety Impacts of Primary Container Choice
A single decision on the size and type of a vaccine container can have significant implications on the safety, affordability, and coverage of vaccination in routine and campaign settings. Choosing a single-dose vial instead of a multi-dose container or a pre-filled syringe, for example, affects a wide variety of stakeholders. This report details the tradeoffs involved in determining a vaccine's primary container.
