The Future of Immunisation Policy, Implementation, and Financing

The authors of this article, published in The Lancet, discuss the challenges and possibilities of further expanding coverage of existing vaccines while widely implementing new vaccines, with respect to low-income and middle-income countries. They argue that these countries are where the biggest challenges to the introduction of new vaccines are found and where characterization of policies, programs, and financing necessary for further progress is most urgent.
