Prospective Cohort Study of Disabling Sequelae and Quality of Life in Children With Bacterial Meningitis in Urban Senegal

This article, published in the Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal, describes a study to investigate disabling sequelae among a cohort of children diagnosed with bacterial meningitis in urban Dakar, Senegal. Data from the study suggest that children with bacterial meningitis are at high risk of complex multiple impairments and impaired quality of life. ABSTRACT ONLY.
