- Combating HIV/AIDS in the Democratic Republic of Congo
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, PATH is working with local groups from the ground up to link people with integrated HIV prevention, care, and support services through the ProVIC project. The five-year project, funded by the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief through the US Agency for International Development, has adapted the Champion Community approach to engage individuals, families, and entire communities, especially high-risk groups, in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

- A Comparative Performance Evaluation of Flocked Swabs Versus Dacron® Swabs for Use With an Immunodiagnostic STI Assay in a Population of High Risk Women in Bolivia
This study assessed the impact of a new sampling device on the performance of a rapid immunochromatographic strip test for chlamydia under development at PATH. - Detection of High-Risk HPV-E6 Oncoprotein in Low and High-Grade Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN): Emerging Evidence for Predictive Validity
This poster demonstrates the predictive validity of an assay developed by Arbor Vita and PATH. For this study, cervical swab specimens collected from women screened, diagnosed, and managed in rural settings in China were tested for the presence of HPV-16 DNA then examined for HPV16-E6 expression.
